Hidden is a triptych video installation created by DBLG that merges the world of fashion, music and visual art.
Inspired by the debut couture collection of nascent fashion designer Vincent Lapp, DBLG’s film explores the connection between form and elemental forces, taking the viewer on an arresting visual journey. To mark the start of London Fashion week 2019 the film was designed to be shown simultaneously across three huge portrait screens immersing the audience in coloured light and surround sound.
The film subsequently won Nick Knights prestigious SHOWStudio Fashion Film Award.

As a one-off event, the film was shown across three 95′ portrait screens. We also immersed the audience in a vibrant light show and 5.1 surround sound. Interactive sculpture were built to mirror the structures and patterns within the film.
Music for the film is composed by experimental choral trio Blood Moon Project. Approaching the film in chapters they interpreted each of the garments graphic language as instrumentation blending synths, salvaged church organs and percussion.
As a gift everyone ways also given a limited edition 7” vinyl singles, which we design of course.
